Materialista

The aim of the project was to design a catalogue defining a specific topic, adequate to all editions, from V to XIX. Make a commendable choice regarding the materials for the new project’s design assumes a fundamental role in it, and essentially determinates its accomplishment: this scientific methodology of arrangement is utilized to investigate the Triennale di Milano’s photographic Archive. Starting from the Excel file, we find the most significant data among the description of the single image, from which are acquired the following categories: ceramics, metals, textiles, woods and plastics. The catalogue is composed by 1933 photographs, and was designed taking into account a precise rhythm: the images are initially presented in their totality, going then more specific, adding a more specific degree of detail: from micro to macro.
